How would this be for a new comic book (limited-series or on-going)?

Since it's really unclear as to which (if any) of the pre-New 52 stories with Dick filling in for Bruce are still in canon, but we do know that Dick was still briefly Batman at some point in the past, why not a series (regular on-going or limited) telling those (possibly untold) tales?

I even have the perfect name for it:

Batman: The Dick Knight

I just think that any take they could do now would just be compared with Morrison's Batman and Robin run or Snyder's Black Mirror and therefore seem disappointing, a pale imitation to paper over cracks in the New52's continuity.

With how confusing and garbage the New 52 time line is I think they should just retcon Dick's time as Batman. There's no point in him being Batman in the New 52, what made it so great before was all the build up in becoming Batman.
