Amen! The movies all have specific stories, but they do a good job of setting the tone of anti-mutant sentiment. The scene in DOFP where Mystique jumps out the window and is faced with a huge crowd of gawkers is another example. The X-Men have greater enemies than just 'humans in general', which the movies have been introducing, but of the 5 strictly X-Men movies, 'humans' were the big villians of three of them (Stryker in X2, the whole Mutant Cure plot in X3, Trask in DOFP) and secondary villians in the other 2 (Kelly in X1, the end scene in Cuba in XFC).

I wouldn't be interested in every single moment of the X-Men's lives being about how much humans hate them. We see it. Does no one remember Mystique's like, only line in X1? It's all there, and that hate from humanity is either the villain in every movie, or it is the reason the villain is acting out (Magneto in X1, Shaw in XFC)

Indeed. Heck, the main villain in Days of Future Past isn't even Magneto or Trask, it's the entire sentiment of hatred and distrust between humans and mutants. The movies nail the social undertones of the X-Men quite well for the most part, but there's also bits and moments where they just up their game and absolutely kill it. Bobby's "coming out", Warren hurting his wings as he tries to hide them from his dad, people praising mutant registration...brilliant scenes all of those. Then there's also the scenes where they show how hate and misunderstanding can be overcome such as Charles showing Erik good moments of his childhood, the speech that older Charles gives to younger Charles, etc. etc.

I always liked the scene in Wolverine and the X Men animated series where Prof X takes Kelly and Magneto on a trip to the future, where the Sentinels were in charge.

Picked up my first new comic's in years Uncanny/Extraordinary/Wolverine #1 and X-Men 92 #1 & 2.

So pumped for the new movie. Even bought X-Men Legends 1 & 2 off eBay

Well, to me, the screen shot of Kinberg embedded in the above video link shows a face of indifference, mixed with a conniving smugness. There is an emptiness in those eyes, as if the soul within is weak.
