    Default RessurXion: Wrap-Up

With the final RessurXion creative team announced what are your overall final thoughts on the upcoming X-Line? What titles are you looking forward to? Which are wait and see? Is there anything in particular you want to see? How do feel the new line compares to the current books?

I'm looking forward to Iceman, X-men Blue, and Jean Grey. I'll be checking out at least the first arcs of Gen X and X-men Gold. Overall I'll be going from reading only one book currently to potentially five, so I feel like Ressurxion is a mostly positive new direction for the X-line.

It's the end to the dire, depressing tone and incessant extinction plots that's exciting me more than the lackluster offerings. The real question is whether or not DisMarvel will really follow through on the bright and positive promise of this fauX resurrection.

    Definite reads...
    X-Men: Blue, Jean Grey

    Possible reads...
    X-Men Gold, Iceman

    Not interested...
    Cable, Weapon X

    Kill it with fire...
    Generation X

X-Men Gold: I'll give this one a shot. Even with Guggenheim's writing. Awesome to see Rachel on the team again, NOT so awesome to see the hack job they've done to her.

X-Men Blue: Not a chance in hell. There are way too many X-Men sitting in limbo (including the adult versions of the O5) to justify the O5 dominating this title.

Generation X: The premise is not to my tastes, and the cast does nothing for me, but in the interest of nostalgia, I'll at least give it a shot.

Weapon X: This title interests me the most, and I'm excited to see where this goes. Pak is a writer I enjoy and trust, and I don't mind Land.

Iceman: Pass. No interest in this character.

Jean Grey: HARD pass. I despise the O5.

Cable: Pass. No interest in this character, either.

The only other thing I'm really interested in right now is seeing what happens with M after all is said and done.

    Must:
X-men Blue-Best creative team. Love the O5. Love Magneto
X-men Gold-Love Storm. Love Kitty. Wanna see how things go
Jean Grey- Fav X-woman. I like Hopeless' idea of who Jean is.

    Will probably look at:
Iceman- I wanna see Bobby develop but I have a budget to maintain.
Weapon X- Love the team. I like Greg Pak. Land is bareable now. I'll see if I can slide this in.
Cable- Not REALLY interesting in the character but I liek the creative team and the concept souds cool.

    No:
    Generation X- No.

I'm def reading the two team books and Iceman.

I'm giving one arcs to Jean and Weapon X.

I hope there is actual development in Generation X and it is not a book about losers being losers but a story about losers developing themselves into something more.

I don't know about Cable, never been interested in his stories.

    Definite:
Iceman (One of my favorite characters, regardless of how I feel about his coming out and how it was written. Bobby gets my support)

    Inquired:
X-Men Blue (I'm against the time displaced O5, but for Bunn and Magneto)
Weapon X (I try to read all the X-Force stuff, as it's my favorite team concept, but this isn't quite that)

    Probably Not:
X-Men Gold (Basically Amazing with out Iceman and he was my reason for reading that)
Cable (Just not jumping out at me)

    Definitely Not:
Generation X & Jean Grey (No interest in these characters at all)

Will continue to read pending cancellations:
Deadpool, Uncanny Avengers, Mercs for Money

Blue, Gold and Cable are definite. Weapon X i'll give a chance, i'm curious. The remaining solos and Gen X... can't say i'm terribly excited for em. i will give them a try, but i'm not expecting much. especially from Gen X.

X-Men Blue: Pass the o5 don't do it for me
X-Men Gold: I'm gonna give it a chance even though Guggies writing is absolute crap
Generation X: Not interested in any characters except for Benjamin, so I might give it a chance also
Weapon X: Interesting premise I enjoy Pak def getting.
Iceman: Def buy I wanna support this title no matter what
Jean Grey: Don't really care about her nor the phoenix
    Cable: Same as above
