at this point, we know it has nothing to do with marvel wanting to harm the movies or the ff. it was the result of a decision made by majority shareholder ike perlmutter.

Perhaps in this case, we have seen that one man can make a difference?
Because it's not just a case of whether a business can make money, it's often a case of can the business make enough of all the money possible for the investment. Unless the FF were doing X-Men numbers (and I think not), it would be easy for Perlmutter seeing them as a cross-promotional expense from which Marvel saw almost none of Fox's take.

Imputing a malicious deed on company executives that had nothing to do with the topic of this thread is not proper to this thread. Let's keep discussion about said executives about the comic and movie rights and not their other actions.

And Hickman and Marvel during his Fantastic Four could with a straight face assert that Johnny Storm died and it was planned from the start of Hickman's run:
http://comicsalliance.com/jonathan-h...our-interview/
"Everything in there from the beginning, including the death of Johnny Storm, were all part of the larger story that I laid out for Tom when I got the job."
Johnny Storm did die, but he got better rather quickly. Many times. In Hickman's same run on Fantastic Four.
So 616 Sue, Ben Grimm, Johnny Storm, Franklin Richards and Valeria Richards are all dead. But it is clear as day to me they will get better.
It would actually be rather insulting to Marvel comics fandom if Hickman did not remember that at the moment of death Franklin Richards can instantly focus his powers as he did during Days of Future Present, a storyline in which he also interacted with his younger self just as he did in Hickman's run. I therefore stand by my speculation that those in the part of the Raft broken off are preserved in Franklin's dreamverse, technically dead, but able to be brought back.
The only reason for them not to be sourced from Reed-616's family would be to neuter the emotional impact of the coming conflict between Reed and Doom, which of course wouldn't be in line with the kind of stories Hickman has been telling. The only reason for Hickman to misdirect in interviews is because it's so colossally obvious.
