Default Cash Money, Homey! Straight Outta Compton Wins Box Office!

Much to my surprise (mainly because of my lonsgstanding dislike of rap music and it's culture), Straight Outta Compton, the biopic on N.W.A. pummeled the box office to the tune of little over $56 million over the weekend, taking the top spot from Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation which finished second with $17 million. While the world ragged on Fantastic Four and how it flopped on its debut last week, at least it did better than The Man From U.N.C.L.E. which really tanked, finishing third in its debut this weekend with just $13 million, despite playing on nearly a thousand more screens than Compton.

Surprised U.N.C.L.E did so poorly, the trailers looked good.

Being yet another remake of an ancient television series that nobody wanted or asked for will do that.

It got an 88% on RT. I'll wait for it to come out on OnDemand to watch it. Paul Giamatti as Jerry Heller should be entertaining

I have a feeling Henry Cavill's next movie will make slightly more money.
