The Intern - some nice messages but overall a yawn - 5 out of 10.
Eddie the Eagle - charming biopic - Taron Egerton is a cool lead and I would watch Hugh Jackman do the dishes - 6.5 out of 10.

I decided to watch every Leprechaun movie for Saint Patrick's day last week, from "best" to "worst" I'd go...

    Leprechaun 3
    Leprechaun
    Leprechaun: In the Hood
    Leprechaun 2
    Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood
    Leprechaun 4: In Space
Leprechaun: Origins (though really this one is just a generic b horror movie with the name slapped on)

    BATMAN THE MOVIE (1966 series)
    Excellence to the Nth degree.

    BATMAN (1989)
It has its highly notable flaws, but still a very good movie, and one I highly enjoy.
What happened with the sequels? None of them managed to surpass it, or even be equal.

    BATMAN RETURNS
    What is this nonsense?
Visuals, leads, soundtrack, costumes... this certainly beats the sequels in those departments.
Story is.... less favorable. I like Batman & Robin more.

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them - absolutely useless film. A lot of stunning visuals searching desperately for a story to tell.

Rogue One - OK as its own thing, but it's not "A Star Wars Story." It had none of the heart of even the prequels. Had it been anything BUT a Star Wars story it would have been a decent film perhaps.

    BATMAN FOREVER
I laughed so hard, this one might be worse than Punisher War Zone in the story department.
On the plus side; both movies are good to sit through and have fun with.

I think if you laughed that hard at it, it's hard to see how the story is bad. It was supposed to be funny, and you apparently got out of it exactly what you were supposed to. Not seen the Punisher movie so can't speak to the story.

I laughed at how bad it is.

Cat mouth in a woman's mouth, her bath, bird in her mouth, penguins unstrap a baby, freak works for a circus, freak grows to become so eloquent at speaking and writing, and amazing at information gathering, the neck of the duck vehicle is taller than Penguin, but somehow he manages to stand on an elevator sending him all the way up with that massive duck head.
How did Cobblepot get the designs of the batmobile? Managed to hack the shield, and drive it by remote control? And all his cronies are amazing mechanics.
Why is Batman's hand so strong it breaks through the steel bottom of the car to take off the remote device?
Batman mauled corpses in two movies, and then he tells Selina she shouldn't kill Shreck.
Business meeting room is a place to discuss one businessman's opinion of another as a crock, no deal done?
    .....

As terrible as B&R is, at least it's not this weird freak show, and it's the funny kind of bad.

I believe the last film I watched was Dr Strange (2016)

Missed it somehow when it was in the theaters. That was right around the election last year, and comic book movies didn't seem that important at the time.

My girlfriend and I finally were able to rent it. When it was over, we both turned to each other like "mehhh..?"

I thought the effects were great.

    I thought Cumberbatch was great.

I didn't buy Strange's transformation to a good guy by the end of the film.

I thought the story was very rote for Marvel by now. Reminded me a lot of previous films.

A slightly generous 7/10; wish they had put a little more into the script.

    BATMAN & ROBIN
This is fun to watch alone, more fun when I share my commentary with others, and I see theme interact.
