Maybe to differentiate from the 1960s Spy TV show? I know it's hard to believe that anyone would confuse the two now, they may have thought it to not be as sure of a thing back in 2012.

Watching Nolan's "The Prestige." It's a captivating movie about a rivalry that pits Batman against Wolverine and also features Black Widow and Alfred.

Here's hoping that I love it more when I see it again in May.
I'll do my MCU marathon to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Iron Man.

And also has Maya Hansen. The scientist from Iron Man 3 whom everyone forgets. To be fair it was a small role in one film. It was a really captivating movie. Amazing that its such a fine movie but hardly anyone talks about it when speaking about Nolan. His filmography is really impressive.

The Name of the Rose (1986) - starring Sean Connery

Fantastic movie I'd never seen before. Just bought the famous book. For comic readers, you can tell Morrison's Gothic was inspired by The Name of the Rose. Grant uses roses in Gothic and borrows writing quirks from Umberto Eco like deliberately leaving some foreign language text in the story to challenge readers.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
