Watched this on Netflix a few weeks back, and was really disappointed by the whole thing. Everyone in the cast is good, but it just seemed like average indie comedy; after all the glowing reviews for it, I was really expecting far more. It was like subpar The Savages, Little Miss Sunshine, Sunshine Cleaning, or The Squid and the Whale. Once it was over, I wasn't really sure why critics seemed to do crazy for it. I watched Seeking a Friend for the End of the World right after that, and it turned out to be way better movie.
Anyways, that was a few weeks ago. The last movie I watched today was Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx. It's not as good as Sword of Vengeance, but that's really no slight, as it's still good. Best scene in the movie is probably when one of the main villains sics her band of female assassins on a poor ninja. Poor ninja didn't know what was coming.
