It's a joke from The Simpsons. The family has gone to Itchy & Scratchy Land and Bart sees personalized license plates. But they skip his name, jumping from Bert to Bort.

You broke one of the rules from post 1:
I think you may be disqualified for the rest of the year, but I will have to check in with the judges. It's okay to discuss the covers but if you think someone's entry doesn't fit the theme or violates the rules, you don't need to argue it in the thread, simply don't vote for it.
Harley who?
Also, does someone who's a better Bat-historian than I know why the Batman title was "Batman : The New Adventures" for a brief time in the 80s? I've always wondered.
Batgirl - ...BOP - Batman - 'Tec - Nightwing - Supergirl - Titans - Wonder Woman
I figured there'd be a couple of OMACs on here, so why not one more... sorta?

I don't remember the content of this issue or why one of her "boys" has a mohawk, but it's a fabulous Bolland cover.
It was a marketing move in the immediate aftermath of Year One finally bringing Batman to a post-Crisis state. Things were very much in flux for the Bat-titles before Year One, but this was a sign that pre-Crisis material was in the past. Specific interest was brought towards showcasing that this was new talent on the books, first with Max Allen Collins (who had actually done some issues in the interim period between Crisis and Year One), then Jim Starlin and Marv Wolfman. Look at how big those names are above the logo.
