He also had a minor role in Blade Runner 2049.

Kind of funny both him and Andrew are British, so in the very first episode it's mainly two british guys with fake southern accents!

Fear the Walking Dead to end with Season 8 when it debuts in May.
AMC premiered Fear the Walking Dead back in 2015, with the series serving as the first major expansion of the franchise from the main series. It provided a hitherto unseen glimpse of the onset of the mythos' outbreak, albeit set on the other side of the continent, in Los Angeles. Yet, that setting would eventually shift eastward, settling with dusty desolation in Texas. The series launched with Kim Dickens' Madison Clark as the de facto protagonist. Eventually, the character was given an ambiguously fiery fate in Season 4, leaving fans to believe that the character perished. However, after years passed and the showrunners changed, Dickens returned to the series in 2022's Season 7 in what was a surprise move that rejuvenated enthusiasm among many viewers. Indeed, with Dickens' Madison seemingly back in the driver's seat, the series heads to its finish line having made a full circle of sorts.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 8, Part 1 premieres on AMC on May 14.

Yeah, the show has really struggled since Madison left the first time, especially season 5 (with the weird and probably now dead kids in an irradiated area) and 7 (Strand's tower and Alicia's illness). Season 6 with the group dealing with Teddy's cult and it's nuclear submarine after defeating Virginia was pretty good though.

New preview at Wondercon shows Morgan will return to the Georgia suburb where he first met Rick. Also looks like there's been a huge time jump of what seems to be a decade since Morgan and Grace's adopted daughter is now much older.

Not a lot of Madison and Strand though...

Season premiere was on last night.

Extremely meh-basically Morgan tried to escape Padre but got stuck in a swamp so he called for their help, his adopted daughter Mo was raised by Padre and he and Grace started working for them. Madison and Mo (Now called Wren) escape but Morgan and Grace pretty much end up returning her at the end along with Madison, with the main story progression that Mo now knows who her parents are and is less afraid of zombies (Called "Carrion" here) and presumably might help rebel against them I guess.

Padre seems to have some end goal but they're pretty much another 'evil' group, just not as technically advanced as Commonwealth or CRM.

Seems like the producers don't like dealing with toddlers, so they skipped ahead a few years for Wren the same way the parent show did for Judith.

Kind of did something similar for Hershel jr as well, although that just happened to be because Lauren left the show for a while. They're recasting him again for Dead City although the kid seemed a decent enough actor.

Rick Jr barely did anything in his first few episodes so some wonder if he was even real at first.

Yesterday night's episode was much better and kind of a game-changer. The infections caused by being bit from a zombie/walker/carrion etc. can be 'cured' using radiation treatments.

Keep in mind though the bite doesn't transmit the virus; that kicks in when anybody dies for any reason except for brain trauma (and of course the radiation itself is a risk)-but it's a toxic enough mix that unless amputation (as we see with Hershel and Lydia; Although an Amputee, Aaron wasn't bit but had his arm smashed, and of course Alycia surviving as long as she did although the infection went past her arm inspired June's approach here) is administered rapidly in the case of a limb it's pretty much a death sentence once fever kicks in. So now there's a possible alternate treatment apart from amputation (and certainly helpful if it isn't a limb).

BTW the current episodes are set back where it all started-Georgia. Probably why Morgan returns to his old house later on.

Here's what I think happened with Alycia. When she cut off her arm, that stopped the walker infection. But the fact that she cut off her arm with an unsanitary instrument, in filthy sewer water, gave her a more common, and possibly deadly, infection. That's what gave her the fever that she had such trouble shaking off.

I wonder if Fear will end with whoever survives this group going to Alexandria as a finale ?

Think that's what Morgan intended to do in the first place but kind of got sidetracked.

Of course Alexandra wasn't exactly safe for quite a while itself after he left, with it getting badly damaged by a Whisper-guided horde and then being turned into "Outpost 22".

Kind of curious how the TWD characters would react. Morgan, Dwight and Sherry would recognize Eugene, Ezekiel, and Carol but pretty much everybody else they knew is either dead or doing their own thing (Maggie/Negan, Daryl, Michionne/Rick) or hasn't been seen in a while (Whatever happened to the two other Negan wives?)

Also whatever happened to Annie and the other kids from season 5/6? Victims of the nuke, or possibly captured by PADRE?

Third episode who reveals who runs PADRE: The brother and sister (Shrike) of the project commander and they kidnap and train kids because they "don't want people to feel the lose of a parent" or something like that, although what exactly the base and it's shipyard were for is still a bit of a mystery.

Daniel also returns with his mental problems possibly having been totally faked in the first place but now kept in check by some kind of medicinal liquid.

Next episode seems interesting since it'll have Morgan return to King County, former home of Morgan, as well as the Grimes family and Shane, where it all began. Preview seems to have him return to the house, and what appears to be the mummified body of Jenny. Also maybe it's possible we will see walker Duane, it was never quite clear if Morgan put him down or not.

Episode four goes back to where it all began. Great performance by Lennie James although the episode does have the usual other issues (Like how long is the distance between PADRE's island-presumably in the Gulf of Mexico) and King County? Even with roads mostly clear of traffic it seems a bit like the characters almost instantly travel-In TWD when they finally left Georgia and headed north even that took several days instead of hours)

We see Jenny's mummy but Morgan also sees her in her walker form when using the rifle scope, which I think is just reused footage from Days Gone By (The first episode). Also we finally have Duane's walker show up.

Also turns out Grace is dying from the radiation again, and then to make matters worse gets bit by a Walker in the abdomen (Similar to Carl). So they head to try to find June to use her treatment but it's probably not looking good. There hasn't really been any major deaths since the Dories and Virginia/Dakota, as we don't really have any definitive fate of Alicia and Charlie.

No more Grace. Although she dies fairly peacefully Mo hesitates and then there's a brief struggle with Walker Grace before Morgan puts her down.

Also Dwight/Sherry's son infection has returned so the 'cure' might not work.

Shrike locks Morgan in the train car with Grace's corpse and it looks like the next episode preview has him going nuts again. He's also reciting his "I don't die" catchphrase again.

Mo is sent to clear out a shipyard full of about a thousand walkers with the child soldiers, but only with melee weapons......

Next episode is the mid-season finale. There are some rumors that a character from the earlier seasons might return as well, might be the cliffhanger.
