UEFA set to fine Manchester City £50m and restrict Champions League squad size.
Small consolation if you're a Red, but dreadful news if you're a Citizen.

I'm thinking there might be one more twist in the title race, no idea what it will be though.

50million is a lot of money, even to City, and that Champions League Squad limitation has to include 8 home grown players.

I'm not sure about the punishment we have received for a number of reasons. One, surely fining a club 50mil in the name of financial stability is a little counter productive? Second, the fines clubs receive for racism are a pittance compared to this, I'm not sure what message they are trying to send. Lastly, I'm not sure it will affect the club too much. They have that money in their back pocket. The squad restriction might hurt a little but all the key players will still be included.
As a City fan, I'm not saying I want my team to be docked points but maybe a point deduction (in the CL) would be a more appropriate punishment for clubs that fail to meet FFP?
Aston Villa tonight, beat them and we have one hand on the trophy!
