Synopsis:
The pursuit of Janus continues as Diana & Co. find themselves in the Phantom Zone. Xa-Du the Phantom King blocks their progression, promised freedom and a clean slate in Janus' new future, he fights Wonder Woman on her behalf. Their battle comes to a halt however, when Aethyr Lord of the Phantom Zone who is angered by Janus' breach of his realm, allows Diana & Co. safe passage.
Now finding themselves in the Realm of Bat-Mite and Myxlplyx, Diana joins forces with both to confront Janus. With Deadman as her hostage, Janus escapes capture yet again. And while Diana continues multiverse hoping, we get a quick peek at Wonder-Mite.
Now In Gem World, a full on brawl breaks out between Diana and Janus. Diana tries to convince Janus to return, but Janus won't be swayed. Using her purple lasso, which has the ability to bend the recipient to the users will, Diana binds Janus in its grip. But at that crucial moment, Diana decides against using it, giving Janus the opening she needed to cut the lasso.
Opening another portal Diana finds herself in a Prehistoric Era. Janus commences in burning the past to cause the destruction of the future. As Diana flies Siegfried overhead, he tells her how much of the universe this adventure has shown him and will stand by his oath to fight at Diana's side no mater what happens.
With the past now burnt, Janus jumps to the future. Diana follows, and finds a barren void her Earth once occupied. Janus' mission complete, she kills Deadman and welcomes Diana to the future.

I liked this issue! The multiverse hoping was in full swing here, and it was a lot of fast-paced storytelling but the issue didn't feel short.
Janus is still a bit bland and I find her origin and design to be the most interesting things about her. But that's ok, not every villain has to be
#deep. She's serving her purpose.
Wonder-Mite was cute.
(Also they couldn't resist the damn BvS reference, lol)
Wish we got to see more of Diana's Gem World outfit,
or just more of Gem World...but this book kind-of grips you by the face and screams,
"we ain't got the time to slow down right now!"
Anyways, I look forward to next week.
