Just watched Under the Dome pilot. That was a great start. I'm definitely watching the rest.

Can't recommend "Black Mirror" highly enough, streaming on Netflix as we speak. For more British TV goodness I'd also recommend "Broadchurch" with David Tennant.

JSYK, Season 2 begins on the 5th of January, on channels like TV3, UTV Ireland, or ITV 1, etc.

I am hooked on the "Black Mirror" and am very upset there is so few episodes. They're so bleak but well written and made, reminds me of a modern day Twilight Zone

Well, everything I had been watching is on mid season hiatus, so I powered through all three seasons of Ripper Street Recently.

It's good, not great, but good. At times very, very good, but with an unfortunate tendency toward soap opera melodrama. The second half of season one and the first half of season two are as good as anything on tv right now, but it slips after that. Still good, still watchable, but looking back from a bit of distance there are an unfortunate number of "Really? Are you kidding me?" moments, especially in season three.

Super stoked for the return of Orphan Black. Best show on TV right now IMO.

Well, he's The Last Man on Earth. 'Course it won't.

A one Season and done thing, or more that can be done, success or not?

I think it's safe to say that Forte and the rest of the team have a plan moving forward past the first season. If anything, bad ratings and cancellation will kill the show.

The premier was great. It hit all the right notes of humor and sadness that made it stand out from its other post-apocalyptic counterparts. No surprise that it had a Community-ish feel given Andy Bobrow wrote the second episode.

    So with that said, #fiveseasonsandamovie!

Just finished binge watching the first season of Banshee on Cinemax On Demand. Is this the best show that no one is watching? There's some seriously epic action in this series. The bloody and brutal fight scenes make me cringe and clench my fist every time. Despite some of it being predictable and the premise itself being ridiculous it's a lot of fun and there's a good bit of satisfying pay off. Looking forward to binge watching seasons 2 and 3 this weekend.
