Questions about congorilla ?

Ok I'm kind of confused about Congorilla and on one page on DC database it says he was originally from earth one so it says... Earth one/new earth then on a different page it say he was from earth two ? Earth two/new earth what ? So wich is it ? Some heroes like earth two batman just says earth two earth one superman say just earth one new earth superman says just new earth while new earth batman says earth one/new earth. So that's why I'm confused. Please help ?

It means he was probably created before Crisis on Infinite Earths. He was from Earth-One before the crisis, but then the multiverse was merged, leaving only one earth as a result. After Infinite Crisis it was re-named as New Earth, and that's when James Robinson brought him back. It pretty much means that he has been part of the main DCU since before the First Crisis.

Actually, it's more complicated than that.

"Congo Bill" was a character who first appeared in 1940, which typically would be considered the Golden Age and place him normally on pre-CoIE Earth-Two. But the feature continued into the 1950s, and during the beginning of what would become the Silver Age / Earth-One era, Congo Bill gained a ring that allowed him to transfer his mind into the great golden ape called Congorilla. (The ape's mind would then be transferred into Bill's body during these periods.) Eventually, Bill's mind became trapped in the body of the ape permanently.

So it probably could be argued that there was a Congo Bill on Earth 2 who was just an adventurer, and then on Earth 1 a version of Congo Bill who did the Congorilla thing. Then on each subsequent version of the main DC Earth, there was a Congo Bill/Congorilla.
