He's rhe only one with a vid comic tie in aside from Gwen, which again makes his death super fucking weird. Why bother with all these juicy plot points if he's the first casualty?

As for Gwen herself, I have to womder how Gwen's open identity affects her band's popularity. Not everyday a former garage band has a superhero drummer.

Defunct? The vid comic shows them practicing for a new gig and during the last issue of the old run they talked about going on tour so Gwen could help people town to town, so the band is most definitely not defunct. And given Mary Jane's personality I doubt she wouldn't try to use Gwen's new fame as a booster, though not without her consent, of course.

Cherami Leigh I think could work the best, she can do energetic and cocky, while also calm and collected. I could see it being very similar to Lacey Chabert's Gwen from Spectacular.

And yes, Erika is perfect as Mary Jane, her Ann voice just works so well there.
