Are you guys really unironicaly asking for Gwen to be resurrected? Didn't Marvel ruin her enough with Sins Past? Lol

Disagreed. Ben explained that she was indeed the original Gwen because he took her corpse and reanimated it with the cloning technology.

Ben was the only guy saying she was the real thing, everyone else were calling her clones, hell, in a tie in, Gwen herself accepted that she's a clone.

Then again, Ben himself isn't even the "original" Ben, he's the clone of a clone of a clone... And Death said his soul was the same, then again, that was just to explain his personality change, but it can still apply to Gwen.

I think every Gwen fan would agree that a precondition to bringing Gwen back to would be retconnibg Sins Past.

Whether or not that’s the case right now, it could easily be explained that it is the real her and Ben was telling the truth. And I think with Ben, the same matter was used to bring him back and if the soul is the same, that would mean he’s the same person.

I mean, it was called "Clone Conspiracy." It's not exactly the pinnacle of conspiracy to say that they were clones and Ben Reilly was an unreliable narrator.

It's pretty obvious that the point of Clone Conspiracy is that they're all clones, ASM#23 vol 4 even sums it up:







But then Ben's comic retcons that by saying that Ben resurrected everytime, so the same argument can be made for Gwen, so yeah, Peter David rendered the whole point moot lol.

That does make sense. Spider-Gwen sold 22,000 last month which is well above the 15,000 cutoff number.

A-Force got axed with similar numbers, so it wasn't impossible...

But yeah, relaunch with a new creative team (we've known for a while that we'll need a new artist soon) is more likely than cancellation. There's still a chance that Ghost Spider thing will be applied to the comics.
