Imagine being proud to have negative traits. I can’t relate.
DC: Justice League, The Flash, Justice League Dark, Superman, Action Comics, Green Arrow, Justice League Odyssey, The Terrifics, Teen Titans, Titans, Brimstone, Female Furies, Damage, Heroes In Crisis
Marvel: The Punisher, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Venom, X-23, Cloak and Dagger, Jessica Jones, Sentry
Indies: Unnatural, Jeepers Creepers, Project Superpowers, Black Hammer, Ninja-K
I'd go with Nightshade, Blue Devil, the Question (Vic Sage), Dr. Light (Hoshi), Peacemaker, Tasmanian Devil, Catman, Shade, Hawk & Dove, and the Creeper.
Animal Man, too, if they give him his old costume back...HATE the new one.
I'd put the street-level Charlton characters in this.

I'd second this, but I believe "Americommando" and "Mr. America" were BOTH Tex Thompson.
The first Firebrand was Danette's brother Rod Reilly; he should get included as well.
"Max Mercury" had been using the name "Quicksilver" back then.
"Merry the Gimmick Girl" (like Black Canary) didn't become active until after World War II ended (first appearance was in a 1948 issue of Star-Spangled Comics).
Neither of the Manhunters (Dan Richards and Paul Kirk), who had been active with the All-Star Squadron?
No Robotman?
No Sandy (Sandman's sidekick)?
No Stripesy?
No Dan the Dyna-mite?
What about Miss America (Joan Dale)?
Hippolyta (retconned Golden Age "Wonder Woman")?
Was there a Ragman active during the 1940s?
And there are many others to consider, like Stormy Foster (the Great Defender); The King (King Standish); Madam Fatal (Richard Stanton). The list is endless.
The entire Power Company. Really thought that was a great idea.
Kirk (Manhunter) dePaul being decapitated is no more an obstacle than any of the other death-reversals we've seen.

John Chan - The Man Called CLAW
Introduced in the "Primal Force" series, current iteration of "Claw The Unconquered." His look there was much more a throwback to his more sword and sorcery background, but I want to see him as a contemporary person and introduce a touch of horror to this guy possessing a demon hand. (I took a bit of Highlander, a dose of Sword Art Online)
I think between the diversity trend and the fact that he's already been established and connects to an older property as a legacy hero gives him a lot of potential.
I definitely agree with this. I will admit I didn't read their book, but I did enjoy them in DC Comics Presents, and their appearances in The Super Friends. And speaking of The Super Friends......
I would really like to see DC bring Zan & Jayna back....in the outfits they had in their Young Justice appearances. Perhaps they could be back in YJ, or even appear with the re-launched Global Guardians, since they worked with them in The Super Friends. Aside from their shape shifting abilities, perhaps explore a possible "telepathic connection" between them. That was mentioned in their last appearance on The Legendary Super Powers show.
Also, maybe expand Zan's power set to other forms of liquids.....acids, mercury, things like that.
