If you think one is going to stomp then you don't make the thread. Otherwise this was an intentional stomp and is against the rules.

And it doesn't matter if he was undefeated in his world or not. Feats are what matter. And him beating unnamed, featless combatants over the course of 500 years isn't much of a feat.

I agree, what feats does Goro have? On the other hand, I don't know much about what Sagat can do either, besides "get sucker punched by Ryu" and "beat a brainwashed, not so good version of ryu"

It's not exactly the first time. I believe he said in his own Zod vs Nefaria thread that Nefaria would wreck Zod.

As has been pointed out: Intentional stomp is intentional.

(Even if, in the case of Zod/Nefaria, it's actually a stomp in the opposite direction than you thought.)

the only feats i have for sagat is from SVC chaos where he fights and "kills" ryu.

but then again, it's non-canon.

He also beat Ryu fair and square at the end of SF1, until Ryu sucker punched him with the Satsui no Hado. They both got stronger since then and Sagat since developed his own analogs to Ryu's specials, so I'd guess that he's probably roughly even with non-Satsui-no-Hadou-channeling Ryu, but he's got no feats to back that up other than him having to throw the fight in order to lose to Dan, but that would cover a lot of people.

Personally, I'd guess that Sagat is at least as tough as Liu Kang considering his story tier and the fact that the top end of SF seems more potent than the top end of MK (at least in terms of direct C/Kombat), and had the moveset needed to beat Goro just as Liu did.

I'm trying to remember here, so feel free to correct, but didn't the Capcom SF databooks state that Sagat's training regiment involved throwing himself into tornadoes, or am I thinking of Zangief? It's one or the other.
