Not great news for the production but DC has oodles of lead time for their movies so it likely wouldn't affect release date at all, even if it dragged on. I hope the workers get their raise!

The producers of Wonder Woman and Star Wars: Episode VIII supposedly got in there to help work out a deal.
I don't know how it turned out, though. If they weren't on strike by Saturday, I guess they reached an agreement.

And it does explain why she seems to be exerting herself in the fight scenes in the small bits of film we've seen; they're going with the New 52 explanation of the bracers containing much of her powers and she has her bracers on. 'Course she has her bracers on in the BvS trailer but I assume this will be explained.

I don't get that explanation at all from the article that was linked. Why would she strain fighting normal people? In the comic, she hardly strains in her fights with the bracers on.

I actually said exerting, not straining; It's a small distinction, but for me, exerting I'll implies she's putting more energy into it and straining implies struggling. From what I saw in those clips she's not struggling at all while she's dispatching the soldiers. And I said they're using that New 52 template, not that it would be executed in exactly the same way
