Yep, but that's not conclusive for either character. Duke of Deception is supposed to be a demigod. It's not hard to suggest that superhuman attributes are just part of the demigod package.

The only question I have is, will we see the contest? It looks like Diana steals her outfit and weapons and leaves on her own. I am ok with this but I really wanted to see the contest (maybe, she wins the contest but her mother forbids her and she leaves on her own?).

Yaaas, it looks like Elena Anaya is for sure Doctor Poison. Everything else in the trailer amazed me as well. I especially loved the Etta bit at the end (breakout character of the film? I hope so!).

The new story by Jill Thompson does not have a contest. I would be surprised if there wasn't one... but she does seem to steal the outfit and weapons, which leads me to think there is no contest. Originally Posted by four4elements

After so many years of hearing how WW's villains suck (specifically her non-myth based ones), I love that we have Dr. Poison in a movie.
Some of Gadot's line reading was a bit stiff, but I liked some of her delivery as well. Everything else looks amazing.
Morrison and the DCAU didn't have the contest either. The Contest is nice, especially Rucka's recent version, but I don't think it's as important as some make it out to be. What matters is Diana jumping to the call to go save the outside world. There's other stuff I'm more concerned about seeing than the Contest. Originally Posted by LordTrump
