Does he know that his father is dead ?
His dad is always thought dead, so I'm sure he's used to it.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
Serious answer seems to be "no" - the Robin War #1 solicitation mentions Gordon being Batman as one of the things which is news to Damian when he gets back.
In fact, this might actually be the reason for holding him out of Eternal for so long - by December, it's possible that the other Robins will be aware that "Bruce Wayne" is knocking about with amnesia and so the story is "Your Dad doesn't remember you" rather than "your Dad is dead".
It is sort of odd that he isn't in contact with anyone back home during his travels. Damian can certainly take care of himself but I'd expect Bruce (until the memory loss) and Alfred to maintain some level of communication there.
Actually, does Damian know his fathers not dead? Its one thing for Al not to tell Bruce about how he was Batman, but he still has to tell the man about his 12 year old child. That his son.
