Default Buffy & Angel vs. The Matrix

All TV show feats are allowed for the duo and they are at their strongest. Well, strongest "normal" selves, no powerups like Buffy at the end of Season 4.

I thought of just Buffy but I dunno...figured it be best to give hers some help.

    1. vs. Morpheus
    2. vs. Neo as he was during the subway fight
    3. vs. Agent Smith

Buffy and Angel get stomped, Neo, Morpheus and the Agents exist in bullet time and can pull off feats which Buffy and Angel can't even compare with.

Morpheus does not particularly exist in bullet-time, whatever that means. For that matter neither does that Neo.

They probably make it up to Smith and then Buffy gets shot and things go downhill from there.

Weeeelll, that Neo had just done that rooftop thing with the agent not long before really, so, eh, he does to a certain measure.

Ah, right. I misremembered the sequence and thought the subway fight was before they saved Morpheus...which wouldn't make much sense now that I think about it.

Not sure if it's enough to change my estimate though, since his bullet time was pretty limited.

The rooftop stuff is some of the crappiest bullet timing around. Closer to aim dodging.

Buffy and Angel miraculously defeat everyone by the grace of the Powers That Be and discover to their horror that Buffy really IS just a patient locked up in an asylum and Angel is just a cute orderly who feeds her dinner. Then they ask to be plugged back in again.

Still better than what anyone else facing him is capable of though.

To be fair, it was only the first bullet-timing ever, a film technique the Wachowskis developed specifically for the Matrix.

Just making a note on it.

I'm not saying the actual filming was crap, but that the feat itself was pretty crap (for bullet-timing).

Neo basically throws himself violently off-balance in order to frantically dodge the first bullet. From that point on, he's basically falling and we're into the equivalent of aim-dodging territory. The Agent tracks him, shooting again and again, and finally starts clipping him. It's nothing at all like the Agent's own, far more impressive, bullet-timing sequence only seconds early, where he effortlessly avoids Neo's gunfire.

Yeah, but nobody makes their first jump, after all.

Also worth noting Buffy got shot once at the height of her power and she died, she had to be magically healed by Dark Willow.

That was one bullet, Neo, Trinity and Morpheus have a stupid amount of guns . Hell, even give Buffy a rocket launcher and she's still toast.

Angel would last longer since bullets won't kill but they're trained in blades and stuff so it won't be long before someone cuts off his head. Also they have a tendency to trash wherever they fight, so unless they fight in a subway, there is gonna be some sunlight coming in.

So either way, Buffy and Angel are dead.

Even Dark Willow can't just casually magic a dead person back to live.
Buffy was hurt, doctors were operating on her. Willow chased them away, causing Buffy to flatline for a moment before Willow healed her.
Because Willow wasn't going to sit around and wait for Buffy to heal up in her own good time when there was a bad guy to eviscerate.

And nobody ever managed to hit Buffy with a gun when she knew people were shooting at her. Only reason Warren managed to hit her is because he ambushed her.
