It's hard to comment. Diversification in creators doing books looks like it's finally going to have justice.
My question would be what effect this would have on the subject matter in the comic books. Will we see less need to be politically correct, or, more need to be politically correct? The early days of the Silver Age had the Comics Code which forbade any radical subjects or inflammatory ideas. That code has gone by the way side as the decades passed, but the stigma of those rules fashioned the design of stories and the stereotypes of people used in stories staying white and being white subjects. I've seen Secret Wars Infinity Gauntlet and Ms Marvel Kamala Khan, and these are refreshing alternative families being portrayed in comic books that are enthralling. Will Captain America step into New Jersey and meet Islamic families?
