I'm enjoyed this issue more than the last one, to be honest I'm not a big fan of gabby (she's so scrappy doo) but I can see why she here, she adds levity to compliment Laura's more stoic nature. The cliff hanger at the end leaves me eagerly awaiting issue 10, it seems that there's more to OML than we've been led to believe.

Lots of great stuff in this issue. Gabby being Gabby, Hill crashes ANOTHER helicarrier, the absurdity of Fin Fang Foom being hot for Laura after she douses herself in Fin Fang Pheromone. Also, I now want a running gag where villains start hitting on her during their fights.

Well this is a totally different OML than the one from the original story.

If she does more naked jetpacking she'll get lots of offers.

The final was really a good surprise.

Hill remains a #$%* even asking for help does not mind discarding people when the situation worsens.

Not coincidentally Stark and Carol had a cameo to promote Civil War II.

If going to level a major complaint against the issue, it's the comment by gabby that she still doesn't feel pain.

With the scene explaining that cut, you're left with the jaw dropping question of why the hell they didn't fix that yet.

The scene itself from #8 wasn't cut (in the original preview it was on the last page in the park), but they DID change the dialogue. Probably something to bring up to Taylor on his next X-Position.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if both Fing Fang Foom being hot for Laura and jetpacking naked get some, uh ... fan art.

Seriously though, great issue. Gabby's adorable as always, Iron Man and Captain Marvel feel like they belong in this issue, and that reveal at the end is a nice surprise.

What's really going to suck is that #10 doesn't come out until July 20. Gonna be a LONG cliffhanger.
