Someone needs to Photoshop that cover of Uncanny #1 so Cyclops is optic blasting Hitler in the face.

    Uncanny X-Men Volume 1 (1963-2011)

The initial and main X-men book. Most likely if you heard of it happening, it happened in here. Follows the main team, although that changes from time to time.

    X-Men Volume 2 (1991-?)

The second book starting when the x-men split into 2 teams. Shifts into something called X-men Legacy later on. More superhero shenanigans.
    X-Factor Volume 1

The original 5 X-men reunited in the 80's and formed a new team posing as mutant hunters.

    X-Force Volume 1.

Cable led the new mutants in an X-treme way in the early 90's. This follows up on the previous series New Mutants Vol 1.

    x-men vol 3 & uncanny x-men vol 3 the beginning of floundering.
Marvel and DC comics are no different than the food at McDonalds. It will fill you up but in the end bad for your health. Read more independent publishers. Get away from the corporate homogenous cookie cutter fast food comics.
