Well, the premise sounds awfully similar to Tomb of Dracula, and that book lasted seventy issues.

Probably just a bunch of nameless, faceless characters no one will know or remember beyond the arc like from the case where she was looking for the loved ones of the villains.

Just Darth Vader and Star Wars plus the Annuals for me.
I just found it easier to drop all of Marvels superhero titles. No more reboots, no more crossovers. Life then got a whole lot simpler.

i don't see this concept lending to an ongoing book that well

It probably is. In fact there are probably quite a few books in this lineup that will end up being arbitrary mini-series. We'll see which ones when the sales figures come out.

but i mean the concept doesn't have legs to stand on.....even if it did sell well there's not much you can do with a book that's just about trying to capture carnage

Presumably, it's not a miniseries because there's a long-term plan and several stories they want to tell, as opposed to just one.
"It's not whether you win or lose, it's whether I win or lose." - Peter David, on life

"If you can't say anything nice about someone, sit right here by me." - Alice Roosevelt Longworth, on manners

"You're much stronger than you think you are." - Superman, on humankind

I have just Amazing Spiderman 4 & 5 on my pull but ASM is on a very short leash with me. I have been picking Vader up off the shelf and have enjoyed. May just have to "officially" add it to the pull list.

I notice that with both Star Wars and Vader the art is consistently very good.
Makes buying and reading both more fun and easier to do (besides the fact I want to read them and the stories have been cool).

For some this relaunch might not work, but for me this is the most books I ever bought from Marvel in a month, so I guess it's good for them.

    WEIRDWORLD
    PATSY WALKER
    HOWARD THE DUCK
    KARNAK
    MS. MARVEL
    ALL-NEW HAWKEYE
    THE MIGHTY THOR
    THE UNBEATABLE SQUIRREL GIRL
    MOON GIRL AND DEVIL DINOSAUR

As a wait for trade guy, the only books I'll be picking up are Daredevil Epic Collection and Ms. Marvel Vol. 2.

There's a few books I'll definitely be picking up when the trades become available:

    Scarlet Witch
    Hellcat
    Squadron Supreme
    Ms Marvel
    Squirrel Girl
    Doctor Strange

There's also a few that I'm interested in that may eventually make it onto my bookshelf:

    Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur
    A-Force
    Totally Awesome Hulk
    Daredevil
    Red Wolf
    New Avengers
    All-New, All-Different Avengers
    Ultimates
    Karnak
    Black Knight

This is certainly more Marvel titles than I've purchased in a long time.
