She might not have swung the sword, but the Finch's awful writing set her up as culpable through negligence.

So yeah - sadly since in the last few months her decision making in these matters is questionable at best.
Yeah, when the amazons closed the gates, the men actually contemplated leaving but Wonder Woman reassured them that she would talk to them and that everything would be alright. Then Donna outright threatened to kill them all with Diana amid the crowd listening, then turned her sword against Wonder Woman and almost got the best of her. Yet instead of dealing on the spot with this new raving self-proclaimed Queen that came literally out of nowhere, she agreed to meet them again in 2 days for a duel. By then the Manazons were all dead.

It's obvious to me that she told them - "I will break you free of here, but I also offer the option of taking the government off your backs for good." If they didn't accept she'd just have escorted them out of there. This is a 'fill in the blank' that a Wonder Woman fan like you really shouldn't need.

edit- It's amazing how Diana keeps being the cooler, wiser, more level headed one in this relationship. If fans of other pairings could take off their relationship preferences glasses they'd see how amazing she is even with her being a younger, less experienced and more hot tempered Wonder Woman.
maybe you should tak eyour bias glasses, when so many people doesn't agree with you.

He should eventually get over it, but I don't blame him for being angry and disappointed at the moment.

Mostly I just think this whole storyline is a contrived and somewhat shallow situation that doesn't catch my interest very well, either at a "superheroics" level or an "emotional drama" level. But that's totally subjective, I realize. It's also because I'm not that interested in Superman; this book lost my interest during Doomed, and the same is happening now.
Maybe this is Supermans Kindom Come moment.

In KC we are shown a Wonder Woman who has been confronted with the enormity of the problem facing her in bringing peace to a world of violence and compromises on key values to her character.

Maybe this is that. Superman hits a wall he can't break through and has a radical character shift. If that were the case and there were Superfans feeling outraged and despondent, all I can say is "welcome to my world" LOL.

Of course, Superman being Superman it's unlikely he will stay that way, even if some external influence is not the cause.

Oh how I wish so many WW characterisations in the last decade could be attributed to mind control.
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not
