I say give the job to Donald Trump. I mean he's got good energy and a propensity for making stupid over the top decisions which are the trademark of the X-men leadership. Kitty would be a terrible Headmistress, Karma would do a better job.

I dunno; she seemed to do a good job as co- (or was it vice-?) headmistress in Wolverine and the X-Men. And I liked her role as Professor Kitty in Uncanny X-Men.

Dani would be better suited for the Unity Squad, she never approved of kill squads before so I don't see in X-Force and even if she did join she'd kick Hope off and send her to therapy.

OK, fair enough. I was just imagining the badass in the most recent New Mutants arc. But my experience with her is limited. But that being said, I liked the conclusion of Spurrier's X-Force and would happily see Hope lead that team moving forward.

One of the weaknesses of the franchise is that there really isn't any good non retreads to do it. They'd have to write a long ongoing specifically to grow someone into it as most potential candidates have at least one eliminating flaw.

Even someone like Storm, who they are going with, lacks vision and feels like if not outright says she's just a seat warmer.
