Apparently the show only had three LGBT characters (Sawyer's ex girlfriend - one episode, Tom's boyfriend - one episode, and Tom Friendly - 18 episodes). Tom was the only LGBT character of any importance (also the only LGBT character to get a last name and any story focus; though his LGBT status was only shown in one episode in a flashback/flashforward?).

Do either character have any LGBT supporting cast in the comics?

I'm actually not familiar with their supporting casts, nor do I read their comics. I just figured adding an LGBT character for their films could go a long way in diversifying the MCU. Not holding my breath

If he does, good for him. Personally, I could never get into the Bond films. My mom would practically have a heart attack. She likes Sam Smith and loves the Bond movies lol

Charmed, not that one is enough, obviously, but there is a show on Netflix called "Lost Girl" that-- while I haven't had time to check it out myself-- I hear has a bisexual female lead.

Curse them! They stole my idea of a bisexual female lead. Oh well, there's room for more.

Maybe the new Captain Marvel or Black Panther films will have an LGBT character in the main cast.

There's a decent chance that either Captain Marvel or Guardians of the Galaxy 2 may feature Moondragon (Drax's daughter) and Phylla Vell (daughter of the first Captain Marvel) - which would be cool.

Adventures in Gay is amazing! I was disappointed that the webcomic only lasted a couple of months, but Hat had a finite number of stories to tell, and when the YouTube series started up it got me super excited. Didn't realise they were going to be so professional and entertaining! Might even rank him as my favourite LGBT YouTuber (although I'm only subscribed to maybe 4 or 5.)

Here's some lists on YA LGBT fiction. There's others I would add to the list, but a few which might be worth checking out. (Although my interest lies in the 'Realistic'/contemporary category; I can rarely deal with fantasy given a YA spin, but that's just me.)

I think Goldfrapp should be doing a Bond theme but the window where they were commercially successful enough to be even considered has probably long passed.
