My second oldest sister LOVED Jin, she'd always play him in Tekken 3 and in later games alternate between him and Lee, she hated Nina though, cause she didn't like her outfit lol.
Hwoarang didn't get a lot attention at the house either, my oldest sister liked to play him but she hardly played, I still thought he was super hot, especially when Tekken 4 came out and the graphics weren't as...polygonal, but by then I crushed hard on everyone, Hwoarang especially though.

Pesky real life, always getting in the way. Hope you are doing well.

She sounds awesome, but I loved Nina. I don't quite remember her outfit (though I'm sure it was something tight & leather-y), though.

Not a bad pattern if you ask me. I first saw Squall in the KH games, and I was like, "Wow", even at about 8. Now, I'm obsessed with guys in leather jackets.

Interesting video from Davey Wavey, not sure I agree. But he raises some points worth thinking about NSFW in the topics discussed.

I'm not sure how much I get open relationships, honestly. Like I can maybe understand feeling romantic feelings for multiple people. Maybe. Slightly. But I don't understand how people can enjoy being casual in the bedroom. I don't understand how that can work. It just seems weird.

"Want to watch Doctor Who?" was met with silence from the guy's friends last Saturday.

"Want to watch some Studio Ghibli films?" has just now has been met with radio silence from them again.

Dare I even ask "want to watch Back to the Future Part II?" come the 21st? So this is me trying to be light, and I'm ignored.

I keep on getting flashback to the amazing freshers week where we were a unit. He was mine. We were building something. And now my friend count is pitiful. I haven't seen the guy in 5 days. The group for this week's assignment (i.e. worth 10% of the coursework for this term's module, in an entirely coursework based course) haven't gotten back to me, even after I got my tutor to intervene in contacting them. So basically I'm being screwed over by outside forces beyond my control.

Maybe I should exile myself from them indefinitely. All I'll be losing is a Doctor Who book from the 90s that goes for expensive money on eBay that I loaned to the awesome Latvian guy. Nope, that's totally cool. Totally f'ing cool.

The timetabled lecture for today didn't happen, with no explanation given, so like 60 people wasted half an hour.

    Ugh. This is awful.

EDIT: Received a response from my tutor and bought some Strongbow; very glad my student accomodation is right next to an off-licence.

Going to ask the Latvian guy about the group ignoring me as I can actually trust him.

Also: bisexual John Lennon? Interesting in the light of The Fifth Beatle graphic novel (which depicts a scene of him kinda flirting with Epstein, more playing around than anything but plays into his sexuality) and the fact he did a song called Beautiful Boy which was totally about his newborn son. Right? Right? :P

    Not all that surprising.

I agree with both you, and Davey. I can understand that people have open relationships, and I understand that there's a stigma around them--but, at the same time, it's something that while I have never been in, or have too much outside knowledge of, I can actually find myself being in one. All it takes, like Davey said, is communication. Plus, a bit of trust (when it comes to your partner and yourself).

However, I don't think that those who chose to live monogamously are "depriving" themselves of anything. He used a Disneyland analogy that I don't really agree with. Though I saw the point he was making. Someone who chooses to be monogamous, or chooses to be in an open relationship is awesome in my book. So long as no one is getting hurt.

I've never seen an episode of Doctor Who, and the only Studio Ghibli movie I've seen is Howl's Moving Castle, but I definitely wouldn't be silent if someone asked. Probably because I love TV & Film so much.

I'm really sorry about your current situation. As someone who also has a low friend count, [I count most of you all as friends, plus I have one (off this site) that I also consider a really good friend], I kind of know what it's like. I just tell myself it's not the quantity, but the quality. Then I slap myself for saying something so cliche xD

Were the groups chosen, or were you allowed to pick who you wanted to work with? I always preferred the latter over the former when I was in school.
Is there some way you can go to their dorm/room/etc. and confront them, since it's their grade at stake, too?

It may be controversial, but for me, an open relationship is totally pointless. You want to sleep around, go for it. No shame in it. But dont pretend it's more than it is.

It's sex. It's fun. It doesnt need emotions and it doesnt need a label like being in 'an open relationship.' That's the sort of thing you agree to be in when you dont want to admit you aren't as in to your primary partner enough to really be with them, but are equally too afraid to be 'alone.'

For me, it's like trying to justify wanting to sleep around, and you just dont need to. If you are getting the offers and you want to, go do it. People might see you as a slut, but so what? That's usually just jealousy. Go have 'fun', because soon you'll be old and then 'fun' (or the opportunity to have 'fun' as often) will go away.

I can't groove on that at all. As far as I'm concerned, that's like saying it's not a real relationship if you play videogames with someone else or eat meals with other people.

But, I think that sleeping around on someone is disingenuous (and harmful). Saying you're monogamous and having sex with other people isn't just hypocritical, it can hurt people. It's lying.

Calling an open relationship an open relationship is just being honest.

They were chosen by the tutor for some stupid reason, really frustrating but I understand why as we're all new here. She emailed me back and so the situation is I'll do the work with the two people who I am actually able to contact and I won't be penalised for it. But no idea what their dorm or room or even Facebook is. ugh degrees.

No, I just see those things as different. You can play game or eat with anyone, including family, but the relationship you have will be very different. When you use the word relationship in the context of a sexual relationship, trying to dress it up as more than a sexual one by saying 'we're in an open relationship' for me, tries to hard to avoid saying that you're just enjoying sleeping around. You're trying to be honest, but really, you're lying to yourself.

Sex is meaningless fun without the non-sex relationship stuff that goes with it, but the non-sex relationship stuff may as well be meaningless if you aren't being faithful, because eventually one will care more than the other and then someone will get hurt.

If two people enjoy having sex with each other, that's great, but no need to dress it up as a pseudo-relationship, because if those people are truly honest with each other, there will be a reason they dont want to be monogamous from the off.

    Boy update:
Apparently he's spent the last three days with some girl from his class who he seems to be close to. I am shocked how quickly some people can move on.

There's a Media Production guy I have a bit of a crush on. I know he's queer based on his Tumblr posts; he goes to socialist meetings. But I've barely said anything to him so how can I express "omg, you're really pretty, and your voice is amazing" without sounding weird? He hasn't even followed me back on Tumblr, the ungrateful cutie.

That's good that part of the story worked out, because if you were penalized I would call B.S. on that school.

People are scary that way. I like to think I can move on pretty quickly (not from people, just from events in my past), but I overthink and over-analyze everything, so nope xD

No matter how you phrase that, it'll probably sound weird. Maybe instead of "your voice is amazing", say "you have a really good voice". It's still a compliment, but not one that will seem too forward. Then again, he may appreciate your wording. It depends on what kind of guy he is.

I have somewhat of a dilemma as well, with this guy who runs the LGBT Young Adult group I go to. He's also pretty cute, and while I'm not looking to date (especially not someone in the group, since that can lead to potential awkwardness), if he asked me out, I wouldn't say no lol Thing is, I don't even if he's gay, bi, etc. or not, since he could just be an ally. My friend swears up and down he's interested in me, but we've only met like twice, so probably not. It definitely makes me look forward to future meetings, though.
