Anyway the NUniverse has moved Batson to Philadelphia, so maybe they can just go with a revamped Shazam's Squadron of Justice!

i don't know how obscure they are to the general public, but i'd really like to see the original versions of the following characters getting some love:
Hawkman, Johnny Thunder, Hourman/Rex Tyler, the Mist, Sandman/Wesley Dodds, Starman/Ted Knight, the Brainwave, Degaton ,the Ultra-Humanite, Dr Fate/Kent Nelson and Baron Blitzkrieg.

Arak, Son of Thunder. No idea about the creative team...it was written by Roy Thomas and drawn by Ernie Colon/Alfredo Alcala/Tony DeZuniga, which is kind of hard to top.

I'd for sure like to see some new stuff of The Question. Similar to the 80's O'Neil stuff, but revamped a bit I guess.

In the hands of a capable writer/artist team, I'd read every single suggestion in this thread.

But I might as well throw in my own obscure pet hero:

    The Odd Man!

Faith. I thought she had a lot of potential with the mysterious background and semi mysterious powers...

    Cool.
I'd like to see a Squadron of Justice comic with these characters....except Ms. Scarlet.
Mr. Scarlet gets my vote...this woman looks too close to being Batwoman IMHO.
Also, I'd add Minute Man to this group.

"History of the DC Universe" by Wolfman and Perez, when the DCU use to make sense.

    Flying Fox
    Writer: J. Michael Straczynski
    Artist: Sean Gordon Murphy

DC needs another good mystic hero....and he's Canadian.

Tom Tresser/Nemesis. I absolutely LOVE the character. I still have all the comics he's appeared in. He's basically James Bond and Q mixed together. He made his own gadgets and was a master of disguise. So much could be done with him.
"We live in a world of cowards. We live in a world full of small minds who are afraid. We are ruled by those who refuse to risk anything of their own. Who guard their over bloated paucities of power with money. With false reasoning. With measured hesitance. With prideful, recalcitrant inaction. With hateful invective. With weapons. F@#K these selfish fools and their prevailing world order." Tony Stark
