Bleh, probably better to drop the whole Marvelwiki thing as an example anyway, as it's not even affiliated with Marvel. :)

Doesn't change how I feel about Wolverine, here.

For myself, I've seen comics where Wolverine slices through Sentinel armor like it's nothing, or rips apart the Danger Room's door without effort (zip, zip, two big cuts through it, each over 6' in length).
Sentinels are still, y'know, fights basically, but either way, and yes, setting the latter having happened in an Obnoxio the Clown comic aside, neither of those are remotely near "cut the Hulk at all", they're not even near "cut the Thing at all".

Beat me to noting that about the second part with the wiki, yeah.

Hence, my point about 'I don't personally feel him carving up the Hulk makes any sense'. :)

The Sentinel armor I can see - they're mass-produced, there's a certain level of 'that is metal, there, and it's made by people, and we can sort of gauge the thickness or so and get an idea behind all of that'. Fight or not, for me, that's reasonable.

What the crap does 'forged to a nanometer's dimensions' actually mean?

If it were actually a nanometer wide...but going by the art, it isn't.

Never mind. I've wrapped my mind around it and realized the sword on his arm isn't what he's talking about. The actual blade is invisible to the naked eye, being something to the tune of a nanometer in length.

    Well played, artist. Well played.

See that line down the middle? That's indicative of a diamond or hollow ground cross-sectional profile. Short explanation - it's thicker in the middle than it is at the edges. So it's not a nanometer in width, or we wouldn't even see that. Similarly with the two lines at the point. ^_^

Would make sense if Wolverines blades were in the same position. They aren't, but they should be. Would at least make some sense.

Well yea, but I meant the blade itself.

You mean if Wolverine's blades were a nanometer in length?

...kind of hard to kill a Sentinel with those.

I tell you what, if ever Wolverine's claws are portrayed as so sharp that the mere act of cutting through the air with them sends out a wave of severing force that slices off some class 100-y guy's arm...

Well no, that would be stupid beyond belief ;p

    But it would look cool!
