Marvel seem so doggedly determined to sell Sam to us as Nova. Above and beyond the boundaries of common sense. That's not changing any time soon.

If I think on this subject too much, my disdain for certain people working at Marvel grows to unmanageable extremes. Just gonna say it's well past time Sam and Jesse Alexander cease to exist as concepts.

Probably not. The current Nova is still a going concern, so I don't think we're going to see Rich pop up anytime soon.

I'm not saying "let it go," but maybe don't get your hopes up every time there's a new relaunch or event. I'm relatively confident it'll happen eventually, but waiting with bated breath is probably not going to make it happen any sooner.

Rich should come back, on that I think we can all agree, however, I fear there is only a slim chance he will. It's slim because Abnett is writing a current timeline Guardians book. If anyone can get Rich back its Abnett. Maybe Rich will come back but not as a Nova or Nova Prime. Maybe Rich will be the new Worldmind. Someone has to be in Jesse's helmet since it's not a black Nova helmet in Sam's new series.
