The first Comic bought for me was Fantastic Four #102. But my interest was stoked by my older brother who brought some comics home for me when I was sick. Seem to remember Avengers #59 where Hank turns into Yellowjacket for the first time.

I read through my older cousin's collection of '60s LoSH trades, but what truly hooked me was Uncanny X Men #210.

    *sigh* Old School Claremont.

My first comic series was when they continued Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
My second comic was starting to read The Walking Dead a few years later after becoming a fan of the show. But that one led to me getting into the comics medium in a serious way.

An Ultimate Spider-Man issue that had an X-men team-up. I was much more interested in reading about the X-men, though. I loved the X-men TAS carton.

It was a spider man comic that involved venom. I don't remember the exact issue or story line but it was awesome!

But before i really got into comics during my teen years, I was a huge fan of the animated series of Batman, Spider Man, and X-Men.

My grandma gave me a three pack of comics when I was a little kid, it had Spiderman, Captain America and Incredible Hulk.... I was hooked after that.

Don't remember exactly, but The Unknown Soldier would be a good guess.

Older relatives gave me random comics before I could even read. Because I remember the pictures I know they were Haunted Tank, Millie the Model, Batman, Thor, Dr Strange,Silver Surfer and Mad Magazine. The first comic I remember buying was Spidey Super Stories which was a spin off from a kid's show on PBS called The Electric Company. Right after that, I realized that the "real" Spiderman comic was Amazing Spiderman. I think the first issue of that I bought was #148 with the Jackal throwing chained Spidey off a bridge.

For what it's worth Rita Moreno and Morgan Freeman and sometime Bill Cosby were on The Electric Company.

I think it was an Asterix comic, IDK about the specific one, but it was at my school and I always read it, either that or Dennis the Menace I read at a dentists~

The first one I started reading when I really wanted to get me into comics was Batman: Year One, I think...oh no wait!!! It was the Runaways
