Well... That's not how I saw that working out, especially McCoys insinuations that this isn't about survival but about humanity. That tells me McCoy thinks the test is not whether you survive, but that you die as a human. And then these alternative Earthers come along and think they can negotiate a deal while their two planets are about to crash into each other? I'm not sure how this gets "resolved", unless the alternatives want to negotiate the destruction of 616 Earth.

It certainly is coming off to a good start. Though quite frankly it's still the possibility the Illuminati are ready to stab these guys in the back rather than the front. We probably should be giving them the benefit of the doubt here, but ya never know.

SOMETHING is going to trigger a fight... between Avenger and JLA analogues that's unavoidable. It's simply a matter of who ends up being at fault.

I doubt it'll be that black and white. Considering Beast seems to be taking point here it might first turn into some meta-ethical discussion.

And while the GS and Illuminati are supposedly each other's opposite, that doesn't mean their members are. I have no doubt sun God and Boundless are what we're supposed to expect from the GS, but I'm not so sure about the others.
