Welcome all, this is the latest entry to CBR'S semi-annual Draw Me An X-Jam. If you remember our last Art-Jam (Rule 63) I made a post trying to figure out what would be a good idea for the next jam. The idea that I came up with Phoenix Forced seemed like a popular choice but then Mighty Roman came up with an idea that seemed too good to past up:
So with that, this is the theme of this X-Art Jam. The X-Men drawn to represent different periods of history.I especially like Walking Dead, Phoenix Forced, and Off Duty, but I wouldn't mind seeing an "X-Men throughout history theme", where you can draw a version of a character fitting in a historical era of your choice.
*(FYI: Phoenix Forced will probably be the theme for the next Jam)*
To make it easier I've condense the choices to these:
Prehistoric
Ice Age
Feudal Japan
Medieval
Roman Empire
Victorian
Western
Industrial
20's
50's
60's
70's
80's
90's
Now
You can pick whatever period of time you like, but hopefully there will be some alot of variety.
Rules:
1. Select one number at a time....No trading.
2. When you draw your character, please make the full body visible and exclude backgrounds and keep power displays to a minimum. Please do not submit busts or partial body shots, because you will have re-do your piece before I include it in the final poster.
3. Color your picture. Please note that only colored entries will be submitted in the final X-Jam poster even if the black & white submissions are in before the deadline! If you can't personally color you piece please specify this when you join so that we can find someone to color your entry!
4. After drawing, scanning, and coloring your character simply post it here. Also when posting your entry please specify which number you were assigned so I can easily embed a link.
5. To start off, participants will only be allowed up to 10 entries.
Dates:
