So much bustle, never again.
Good to see other people's entries, great work everyone.
REB, I'll take #72 next, please.

Really pleased you extended the deadline REB. Looks like I won't get a chance to draw my '60s Sage for a few weeks, really busy right now. Think I'm going to have to go full-hippy with her though! I'm thinking Grateful Dead :-)

#9 Iceman - Victorian Era
I decided to go a bit against the grain here. Since Xavier's School is basically a military academy, I figured why not have Bobby kitted out in a variation of Her Majesty's military uniform of the era. If you've seen any of the movies on the Anglo-Zulu War, some elements of his costume will look familiar.
I'll take #23 next, please. And let's make it the Prehistoric Era.
#23 Hope Summers - Prehistoric
The influences here range from African tribal tattoos to movies like Quest for Fire and Clan of the Cave Bear. I wanted to keep Hope as simple as possible, but not so primitive or exotic that you can't tell if she's truly indigenous.
The backstory: In a battle to end all battles, Hope and her band of X-men are soundly defeated by a newly resurrected Vulcan, who is now so powerful that he rips the fabric of the Phoenix force to shreds and in his rendition of "No more mutants," seemingly expunges all of Hope's mutant abilities as well. Mortally wounded and fleeing for her life, she guns the Sh'iar-Kree hybrid star cruiser for Earth, ignoring the navigational computer's warning that attempting a jump into hyperspace too close to the constellation, Metron's Chair, could have disastrous results. Metron's Chair isn't so much a constellation as it is a tear in the time/space continuum and the cosmic equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle. With Vulcan on her heels, Hope has no choice. She overrides the safety locks and fires the hyperdrive...and screams as the cruiser explodes!
When Hope comes to, she discovers that she did make it to Earth. Prehistoric Earth. What does her presence portend for Earth's distant past and its future? And why are the Ancient Ones trying to stop her?
I'll take 111 next, please, and the Roman Empire will be the era.
Judicator Prime and Dante Milton are really setting the bar high in this Jam! Just awesome! The Prehistoric/Shamanistic/Tribal tattoos/body-art on Hope is truly inspired imo.
I am snowed under at work and on the course I'm doing, but I'm aiming that over the holiday break I'll have time to do a couple more and see if I can 'up my game'!

#111 Forge - Roman Empire Era
This is one of those times when my coloring "skills" didn't quite yield the awesome result that the original sketch promised. One of these summers I need to take a class at the local arts academy.
I'll take #80 next. The era will be the 1970s.
72. Cyclops, Roman
I had initially chosen 80s for Cyke, but after sketching him in some preppy clothes it just looked like something Tyke could be seen wearing in today's books, which seemed a bit boring.
JP, excellent work here, well done.
REB, I'll take #82 next, please.
