I mean we have plenty elementals who can manipulate Fire, Ice, Wind and Lightning

Storm/Iceman count for water, no? If not, why the distinction?
Petra for for soil/earth/rock/etc.
The only Water Manipulator I know is Washout, who's dead
There's also Dancing Water, although I need confirmation on whether or not she (and the other S-Men, while we're at it) is a mutant.
Wasn't Callie from NXM about to control plants?
Klara Prast from Runaways could control plant growth. Georgia Dakei from PAD's All New X-Factor had some level of hydrokinesis. I'm not sure if what Avalanche does is qualified as geokinesis, but it seems to be to me.
I wonder why? At first I thought, "what can they possibly do with those powers" but then I remembered my old Swamp Thing comics and said "ah, but then that would be too powerful" or "eh, they wouldn't want to rip off Alan Moore (ha!)". I don't know, guess they're just not flashy enough or maybe take too much thought. Better to have another guy who's really strong or another telepath/TK.
Petra, she's dead though, so...

Realistically speaking about fictional matters. | Nutcases need not respond. | Stay outta my DMs. | Why does the "House of Ideas" keep duplicating characters?! | If an idea or belief cannot stand up to criticism it's probably... bad.

Washout - Water
Mondo - Earth
Black Tom - Plants

I know he is more of a plant Mutate but Terraformer from Force of Nature was a cool plant based user.
