Doesn't surprise me that Marvel pushed Carol's movie back. There just isn't enough there to really adapt, they have to write an entirely new story for her and that takes time. For all of the fans of KSD's run, the meandering adventures of Carol & Space Cat is not a movie make.

On the plus side, getting an Ant-Man sequel is a pleasant surprise. Obviously it did well enough to warrant making another one, and that means we get to see Evangeline Lilly suit up and kick some ass with Paul Rudd. That oughta be great.

Pretty sure the film isn't actually "Ant-Man in the Wasp," which is what the article currently says. That, of course, is the inevitable porn parody's title.

Captain Marvel was pushed back from November to March. Four months is not a lot, so production will probably start around the same time it was originally going to.

It's pretty easy to adapt, it's just a shame Marvel hesitates so much on a female lead movie.

If they were going to slot any movie in, they should have slotted in a Black Widow movie.

Maybe, just maybe, Marvel has an actress cast, but she cannot work on Captain Marvel until a later time due to shooting another movie.

As of only a few weeks ago... they said they hadn't even started the casting process yet because they wanted the script to be further along first.

    Regardless... I'm sad now.

Awesome news! I'm looking forward to the two kicking ass and the exploration of their relationship.

I've never really cared about Carol anyway, plus, Black Panther moving forward is a bonus... kind of, once they get the ball rolling, that is.

I'm going to take a glass half-full approach and see this as taking more time to write a really good story. I rather they take their time to do something good than just put something out to make a deadline. Also now I get a Wasp movie too.

    Alright on earlier Black Panther!

Also I guarantee one of the new movies is either Hulk, Nova, or Runaways. We know they've had a Runaways script sitting around forever and they said it didn't get released because Avengers changed their plans. Now that they're going in an increasingly obscure, more diverse direction, Runaways is a perfect fit.

Only thing I'm excited about in this announcement is Black Panther moving earlier. It was bs that it got bumped for baby-spidey.
Current Pull: Lazarus, The Realm, Seven to Eternity, Aquaman, Flash, Justice League Dark, Justice League Odyssey, Sideways, Black Panther, Captain America, Daredevil, Death of the Inhumans.

    Future Pull: Killmonger.

Wow, pushing back your female-led film AGAIN are you Marvel? Totally not dragging your feet there. And Hope actually gets to do something this time around, good. Should have happened the first time, but better late than never I guess.

I think it's better to wait to get a better product, then rush things and get something that is sub-par which possibly could squash any hopes of a sequel, or destroy the genre in general.
