were we not also told that if it broke again thor would die as strange had used his soul to re forge the hammer???
You see, that there is something I would totally ignore if I was a writer of Thor. It made no sense to me, so why would I pay lip service to it. Most Thor writers happily ignore these kinds of things, and I don't expect them to have to worry about them. If Aaron wants to address the last time Mjölnir was broken or any other time, he can, or not as the case may be.
If the next Thor writer directly after Aaron and down the line completely disregards and retcon's everything that Aaron has put forth, how would that go over with people? Some say this is a defining and seminal run, so if it's all wiped away then what? Aaron has done it to previous writers to suit his story so I guess we can expect his run to suffer the same fate.
