Thor #468 Nov 1993
Blood and Thunder part 1 of 13, "Distant Thunder"
In Asgard, Odin muses on Thor being absent from Asgard and his state of mind;
Thor, meanwhile, is being persuaded by the Mind Valkyrie to raze not only Asgard, but all the Nine Worlds;
While Thor rages, Sif and Beta Ray Bill look on, determined to try to talk sense into Thor;
Thor strikes Sif down, when Bill appears;
Thor easily defeats the both of them;
Bill pleads for Sif to leave to gather more allies, or warn Odin if necessary;
Sif leaves via the Norn Stones and Thor strikes Bill with enough force to shatter the asteroid they were fighting upon;
Before Thor can deliver the killing stroke though, the Silver Surfer arrives.

Thor #5 Nov 1998
"Heroes!"
A radio shock-jock is giving Thor the business on the airwaves.
But when an overzealous fan threatens the DJ's life it's the Thunder God to the rescue.
However, Mjolnir, Thor's enchanted hammer, begins to display odd behavior.
Is this foreshadow for dark times to come?
Story by Dan Jurgens. Art by John Romita, Jr. and Klaus Janson.
Talking about today being Thor date, did anyone notice that today date was the 6th day of the 12th month of the 18th year (of the century), 06/12/18 and the number difference of the 3 is 666! Spooky.

Speaking of dates... Jason Aaron writes Thor on a date with Jennifer. Apparently Thor is a clueless idiot who has been single for centuries...
Aaron writes Thor like clueless idiot but seeing that preview this is something else I never seen a writer that gets away with trashing a character like he does it about time that Thor has new writer.
Imo the way thor is now being written by Aaron ranks as the singular worst version I have ever read
Im in a minority I think when I say I didn't like that story that much, but it was a good version of thor
What we have had for a good few years now, from one extreme to another is anything but imo
And considering what he did in TGOT it shows it a deliberate move, it's not just style
