A little better. Not sure if they will go for such a vivid colour pallet when the film is released but I guess it worked for GotG. I imagine they will tone it down a little at the colour grading stage.

But it's a bid sad that a civilisation as developped as the Shi'Ar is still at abrahamic levels of religious fanaticism.
Then again, they are also imperialist jerks who for a long tome followed any crazy man or woman who inherited the throne of Chandilar.

Meh, looks more like Guardians of Thor Ragnarok Galaxy Part II.

A change of direction is needed don't you think? The last movie was lacking in so many departments. As long as they don't go full on Guardians zany, a lighter tone could work. It is notable that in most people's lists of favourite Marvel movies the Thor outings are drifting ever lower. They were both enjoyable but other efforts outshine them. The franchise needs a resounding success if it is to continue.

Not so sure. If the costume designer(s) put all the Asgardians in armor that looks as stupid as that worn by the two dorks sitting with Valkyrie, then there really is very little hope for the franchise.

It's actually a rather pathetic caricature of "Abrahamic" religion. The actions and attitudes of the Shiar gods are so shallow and arrogant that they are destroying the story simply by being part of it.... The only interesting part of this preview is the use of the god storm.
