There are flower petals in the preview of issue three too. And in the infirmary of Asgardia, so maybe they're going to fight there, or it just something symbolic (or because it looks cool)

She's always been there, she just goes by Gaea rather than Jord. and, for some reason, the fact that she is Thor's mother is rarely mentioned, at least recently. Presumably since biological mother or not, it was Freyja who raised him so that is who he sees as his mother, even if she did not give birth to him.

I guess with so many children and countless other descendants, she doesn't really have much time for Thor but it would be nice to see her mentioned once in a while.

Btw. is Freyja still regarded as being Balder's mother or is this a retcon that's itself been retconned?

Thanks for sharing, that looks great! I love the new Thor's design and I'm really glad to see she's getting more attention. So far we have the upcoming Marvel Legends figure, a Funko vinyl and now this statue among other miscellaneous merch I've seen from her!

I agree with both of you.

Thor couldn't contend with Odin, but She-Thor/Thordis apparently can? I smell some major wanking going on here. How is she going to beat, let alone fight against someone as powerful as Odin? Talk him to death?! Jane/Thordis has no business battling Skyfathers on par with Odin, especially since I don't see her to be on par with Thor Odinson.

Nobody in Asgard other probably Cull should be match for Odin who is Sky-father wielding Odinforce but considering how badly he being written I can see it happening.
