Pleasantly surprised to see this announcement. Did not expect it.

Just fantastic news. This series is a breath of fresh air: peppy, optimistic, full of good messages but not preachy. The perfect series to read with your daughters, sons, nieces and nephews. (Of course, none of them will be able to lift this tome, so maybe get them some arm weights first…)

    I didn't see this mentioned.

Conan the Barbarian is leaving Marvel.

The only monthly title by Marvel, King Conan will end with issue #6. No word on the fate of Savage Avengers.

The announced collections through the end of the year will still be released.

Marvel regained the license in 2019.

Personally, I am not a Conan fan and have not collected any of the omnibus. But I'm weirdly disappointed that the Conan stories from 1994-1996, half of Savage Sword of Conan, most of Conan the King, and several Conan GN never got the omnibus treatment.

I know original marvel years will make it to the end, but does this mean King and Savage Sword omnibus will be cut off mid runs? Amazon has vol 10 listed for December so looks like it will end there.

That's what it seems to be. Unless Marvel rushes some print orders/jobs to get the rest out by the end of the year. Which is unlikely. But who knows!

Yeah no way would they be able to print them fast enough they have like 100 issues left of Savage. I wish they would crank out some books they own like they did the Conan stuff. Would be nice to get a 3 Amazing Spider-Man omnibus in a year.

I hope the new Conan licenser will start new editions of Conan reprints. The Marvel Omnis are too expensive right now. A Marvel Years vol. 1 for over 250 euros?

I was waiting on them doing a reprints of Dark Horse's Conan Cimmerian and King Conan, since they only printed a handful of those right before losing their rights.

Don’t ask me to back this up, but I’m fairly certain Conan omnibuses are the biggest reason for the ongoing international paper shortages.

We’re getting a Squirrel Girl Omnibus but still no Superior Spider-Man?
