Personally, I want the next installment to be the main ongoing from the 80s. I read Punisher and Wolverine side by side in my reads for so much of their launch through the 90s and the Wolverine is up to volume 3 with a volume 4 solicited now(after a hefty break itself between vol.1&2).
yes, classic Punisher is what I was talking about, I have the MAX omni's. Would be amazing for them to do Punisher and War Journal omni's side by side to complete those runs

Yeah, I sold my TPBs years ago because I assumed a Rucka Punisher omni was a no-brainer. I still think it’ll happen eventually, but it’s definitely taken longer than I expected.

I don't understand the Modern Era Epics. Is the plan to do complete collections like the old epics or will it be a lot more one shots?

The plan is to declare all those non-epic collections from last 10-15 as not relevant anymore, leave them in whatever state of (in)completeness they are, and only do books for epic fanboys now. So, if you were buying for example Spider-Girl collections like a sucker instead of whining their spines don't much your 60s Avengers or whatever, now you'll have to wait for Marvel to reprint them all again in the proper trade dress (which considering there's only so much epics per month they can do might take who knows how long) before getting to the issues you don't already have. And of course hope they don't remap the volumes and the new ones fit the ones you already have. Actually it would be the best if you bought them all over again just in case. And because obviously all your volumes should match.

    You’ve thought this through
