After the Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus, I figure that and Infinity War Omnibus and Infinity Crusade Omnibus are in the future. Probably around the next Avengers movie.

MARVEL MASTERWORKS: THE INCREDIBLE HULK VOL. 11 HC
    Written by LEN WEIN
Penciled by HERB TRIMPE & SAL BUSCEMA
    Cover by GIL KANE
Hulk is the strongest! Why? Because it’s hard not to be when you go from strength to strength with artists Herb Trimpe and Sal Buscema! Trimpe defined the Incredible Hulk in an artistic tenure stretching from 1968 to 1975. When Sal Buscema took over the reins, not only did the series gain a great talent, but one that, unbelievably, would have a tenure longer than even Trimpe’s! Add to that Len Wein writing some of his greatest Hulk stories, and you’ve got a bona fide Marvel Masterworks! The adventures include Hulk smashing his way through the Mole Man, the Gremlin, the Shaper of Worlds, Doc Samson, the Abomination…and, of course, the never-ending military machinations of Gen. Thunderbolt Ross!
Collecting INCREDIBLE HULK (1968) #184-196 and material from GIANT-SIZE HULK (1975) #1 and MARVEL TREASURY EDITION #5.

I'd wager it has to do with various sites being temporarily out while re-ordering from Diamond and people panicking. The same thing is going to happen with the Prelude omni, as people don't realize IST isn't really out-of-stock permanently, just waiting for more to arrive.

    Ladies, Gentleman, Ruffians, and Scoundrels;

Its the time honored tradition of letting the Marvel community know what our most wanted Omnibus' are. There is only one major change this year.

Please send your votes to MarvelOmniSecretBallot@gmail.com

By creating a separate email account it allows for more inclusion, for those who lurk, and for those who can reach out to others whom have comic based podcasts or websites, comic shops, or even other friends who want to partake. I am striving to maintain a minimum of 150+ voters but honestly would love to catalpult the number of participants to the next level. The more votes we get, the better our sample---heck if we get enough votes to merit it, I would be willing to do a Top 100.

Just rank your ten choices from number 1--(your most wanted) through number 10 and then send them to me in an email.

Your 1st place vote is worth 10 points, 2nd place gets 9 points.... and your 10th place vote is worth 1 point.

    1. 10 points
    2. 9 points
    3. 8 points
    4. 7 points
    5. 6 points
    6. 5 points
    7. 4 points
    8. 3 points
    9. 2 points
    10. 1 point

Please bump the thread once you have voted, so the link stays on the front page.

Please be as specific as possible in your choices... If you want a Black Panther Omnibus make sure you make it clear that you mean either Kirby's, Priest's, or Hudlin's run, or maybe you meant Jungle Action. Be as detailed as you can in your votes unless you feel it is self explanatory. Dont say Peter David's Hulk, the man wrote it for nearly two decades. Please break it down by issue numbers and/or long running artist if applicable. Any book that was previously licensed by Marvel is eligible for voting as are defunct lines (Epic) and purchased properties (Crossgen, etc.)

Most importantly, this is a SECRET ballot, do not post your complete list on the thread as it does take the fun out of it a bit. If you would like to nominate something that did not make the TOP 50 last year so it jogs people's memories, I will allow for that.

Ten of the omnibus from last years poll have been released or solicited since the results.

Last Day to Vote will be Midnight Eastern time on May 7th. Happy Voting

I made a handy master post full of references, including last year's results, all of the currently printed omnibuses, and my "50 More Marvel Runs That Deserve An Omnibus" post from 2016.

I'll be blogging new Omnibus-related content almost every day while voting is open, plus covering the results again!

Here's a book-by-book breakdown of what's been printed so far from the 2016 survey. Also, The Orphan Report: Marvel’s abandoned omnibuses and open omnibus lines has plenty of fodder for your votes (including suggested volume titles and contents).

Do you read comics in TPBs, HCs, and omnibuses - or are just not sure where to start? Check out my definitive guides to DC (including Rebirth!), Valiant Comics, and Marvel - including every X-Men and Avengers team and each Marvel Event.

You'll find definitive reading guides including every issue of every major Marvel hero and team, like Black Panther, Captain America, Captain/Ms. Marvel, Daredevil, Deadpool, Spider-Man, & and more!

I nominate the following proposed volume, which to my knowledge has never appeared in any prior year's survey results:

SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN BY PETER DAVID (#103-136, Annuals 5-6)

Thanks, Tigereyes! I always look forward to your annual survey.

I'm not posting my full ten selections. BUT-

Even if you wouldn't think of it as a proper omnibus (more an OHC), PLEASE put Mutant Massacre Aftermath on your list if you've been collecting all of the Claremont X-Men run in the OHCs they've released so far, to encourage Marvel to finish that off without gaps. One that has all the X-books from that period like the others they've released (Mutant Massacre, Fall of the Mutants, Inferno and Inferno Prelude, etc.).

    Please.

Also I can't decide if I should waste a vote on Avengers vol. 3 given it's for-sure happening next year.
