    Hi,

I keep updated the Epic Collections timeline spreadsheet

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1015254788

and I thought why don't I add a small poll to see what Epics we would like to see in the future.

If you want to play, here it is:

If I've done it right, answers should be public.

    Thank you.

I decided to put together a quick table to see how the decades are represented in Epic Collections thus far. Star Wars Epics have been omitted from my analysis. This represents everything solicited through the end of 2017 and does not include proto-Epics such as The Captain or the mid-80s Bill Mantlo Hulk trio.

Nice to see the 80s getting so much Epic love! I suspect the 70s are strategically being de-emphasized in order to avoid cannibalizing sales of the many active MMW lines that have recently covered this material or will soon reach it.

Some of the volumes bridge decade boundaries and require a bit of a judgment call. In these instances I favored placing them into the decade represented by the bulk of the material in the volume, not necessarily the earliest material in the book.

Hope you find this of interest!

The results aren't sent to Marvel BUT they are posted on the Marvel Masterworks Forum where Marvel Collections Editors Cory Seidlmeier and Jeph York frequent and I'm sure take note. Jeph York in particular is quite active.

No, there isn't a Most Wanted Omnibus reprint survey. However, saying that, in the past we did from time to time post our own reprint wants on this thread. I have only 2 Omnis I want reprinted: Immortal Iron Fist and Daredevil by Bendis Vol. 1. How about you?

I've added in the Omnis that Near Mint supplied for the remainder of the year. Are these in totality what Marvel is offering or could we expect to see a few more solicits?
If so I propose this get added to the list on post 2 in the thread. It's then updated for the rest of the year and we can start focusing on the Most Wanted poll and fretting about that first Hatchette Catalog for 1Q '18!!!

I noticed Daredevil by Brubaker vol 2 isn't on the first page, unless I missed it. I think it actually releases in the next week or two.

Edit: It's not listed on post #2, but it is on post #9.

I'm going to take a shot at it but help me out if I miss a few then perhaps that post could be updated.

Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme vol.1 - July 2017
    Marvel Monsterbus vol.2 - August 2017
Punisher by Garth Ennis (reprint) - September 2017
Punisher Back to the War - September 2017

Thor: Heroes Return vol. 1 - October 2017
    Deadpool & X-Force - November 2017
    Spider-man: Clone Saga vol. 2 - November 2017

If this is complete that means we are still just waiting to hear about December books. When might we expect to know what those solicits might be? June or July announcement?
It is slightly ironic the thread was rebooted due to lack of ability to update primary posts and the active members who took that on are now MIA. Omnibus has never been super regular contributor from what I recall, but Canucked has been on an odd dry spell.

EDIT: I type this then check out the first page and Omnibus did an update!

War of Kings Aftermath: Realm of Kings Omnibus (Amazon)
War of Kings Prelude: Road to War of Kings Omnibus (CGN, Amazon)
These 2 are listed as almost OOP ??? first one came out in february...I mean it is possible , but...
Second one came out couple of days ago....it must be a mistake?
I always wondered, how is determined if an omni is almost OOP ? Besides becoming/being unavailable at major sellers.

Probably Captain Britain and The X-Men (1 and 2) since I missed those when they were released. And I'm not sure if it could be considered an Omnibus (I guess not?), but I really want to see X-Men: Inferno reprinted. I missed that one as well.

Its the time honored tradition of letting the Marvel community know what our most wanted Omnibus' are. There is only one major change this year.

Please send your votes to MarvelOmniSecretBallot@gmail.com

By creating a separate email account it allows for more inclusion, for those who lurk, and for those who can reach out to others whom have comic based podcasts or websites, comic shops, or even other friends who want to partake. I am striving to maintain a minimum of 150+ voters but honestly would love to catalpult the number of participants to the next level. The more votes we get, the better our sample---heck if we get enough votes to merit it, I would be willing to do a Top 100.

Just rank your ten choices from number 1--(your most wanted) through number 10 and then send them to me in an email.

Your 1st place vote is worth 10 points, 2nd place gets 9 points.... and your 10th place vote is worth 1 point.

    1. 10 points
    2. 9 points
    3. 8 points
    4. 7 points
    5. 6 points
    6. 5 points
    7. 4 points
    8. 3 points
    9. 2 points
    10. 1 point

Please bump the thread once you have voted, so the link stays on the front page.

Please be as specific as possible in your choices... If you want a Black Panther Omnibus make sure you make it clear that you mean either Kirby's, Priest's, or Hudlin's run, or maybe you meant Jungle Action. Be as detailed as you can in your votes unless you feel it is self explanatory. Dont say Peter David's Hulk, the man wrote it for nearly two decades. Please break it down by issue numbers and/or long running artist if applicable. Any book that was previously licensed by Marvel is eligible for voting as are defunct lines (Epic) and purchased properties (Crossgen, etc.)

Most importantly, this is a SECRET ballot, do not post your complete list on the thread as it does take the fun out of it a bit. If you would like to nominate something that did not make the TOP 50 last year so it jogs people's memories, I will allow for that.

Ten of the omnibus from last years poll have been released or solicited since the results.

Last Day to Vote will be Midnight Eastern time on May 7th. Happy Voting
Vote's in. Pretty much the same as last year minus JIM by Gillen (and the automatic ASM and UXM votes). Just throwing BKV's Runaways out there. I'd like to have volumes 1 & 2 collected in one Omni.

I didn't vote for this (Since i just found the three OHCs for quite cheap) but i second the recommendation. Fantastic run that deserves more love than it gets.
    Cyclops was right
