The white is going to be hard over time to keep pristine. It'll fade/yellow rather easy under most lighting conditions.

It's been a while since I've visited or messaged on these boards! I kind of ramped down my comic & graphic novel buying the last several months due to budget, but also job change and lack of time to read, mostly. But I still check in here from time to time to see what's on the radar and upcoming.

Looking forward to the soon-to-be-released Classic X-Men Omnibus. That'll be a Christmas present for myself from my wife, along with the DC Kirby 4th World Omnibus. Glad they used the original logo on the CXM Omnibus, I wasn't looking forward to the later logo, so I'm happy with the DJ design.

Anybody pick up any good deals on Black Friday? In years past folks would post some killer deals they ran across. Doesn't seem to be much talk of that lately. I wonder if that's more that people are going digital nowadays, or the deals weren't all that great? Dunno. Personally, I picked up the Thor Heroes Return (Jurgens/JRjr) Omnibus for like $46 and the latest Hulk MMW HC from IST as part of their sale. Also snagged the first two Batman Knightfall Omnibus HCs for xmas as presents from my mom. Looking forward to reading those. Haven't read the Knightfall stuff in years & years, glad to have them all collected in sequential volumes ... as far as I know the KnightQuest stuff was never collected, or most of it anyways. Also, for whatever reason never read the Jurgens/JRjr run on Thor but heard many good things about it over the years. I believe it has Thanos in it at some point. I was kind of pumped for a new Thor book after seeing the Ragnarok movie which I loved.

The Gillen run on Thor after JMS is a separate story. It covers the buildup and tie ins for Siege. These issues are in 2 TPB or 1 complete collection. After Siege, the title turns from Thor back into Journey Into Mystery starring Loki with Thor then launched as a new title.

Is that a double dip Omni like the Dark Phoenix one? If so I'll be able to skip both.

I'm liking the Doctor Strange Sorcerer Superme vol.2 and Venom vol.1
Avengers vol.2 by Hickman is a nice surprise also.
I guess the Secret Invasion Omni is going to have the tie-ins and possibly leads credibility to Marvel Studios adapting parts of this story for the Captain Marvel movie.
