    3. The inclusion of Spider-Man in issue 3 was ruled as non canon a long time ago and has caused reprint troubles for years.

The only explanation I can think of is that the Marvel Masterworks latest and next volumes cover the same material. Marvel may not want to publish the same material in two different formats so close together.
yeah but this doesn't explain why Ghosts of the Past was released so long ago and why the Kraven's Last Hunt epic was released before being Masterworked. They must have remastered 273-288 along with these issues that surround it, the only reason why no Epic is because they want us to buy the masterworks, but ASM 16 could have been released 6 months after Kraven' Last Hunt epic at the very least

The double dipping is getting me, too, since I plan on getting the Mutant Massacre and Fall of the Mutants omnis this year. Still, this collection is something I've wanted for a while.

I’m going to have to think this one over, too. I love the 80s X-Universe but this was always my least favorite of the core titles. The completionist in me says yes, the reasonable part of me says I can get along just fine with the Epics.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Another omnibus from this year's Top 60 Most Wanted Marvel poll.

And it's #3 most wanted on my own personal top 10 list.

That X-Factor: OG X-Men vol.1 is tempting. I've got 10 months to think about it.
I actually wanted this a long time ago, before the PAD X-Factor but space is really already thin and it'll likely be gone by then.

I'm very much surprised Roger Stern Avengers run never been collected in a omnibus.(athough it will take 2 volumes probably), and a lesser extend Stern Doctor Strange.
