The Phoenix omnibus' are probably the weirdest things they've ever put out.

I also do not understand the Phoenix Omnis. They are a massive double dip. Are there metrics that the Collections Dept has showing there are JUST fans of Phoenix/Jean who also aren't X-Men fans...and in large numbers? Pass Pass Pass

Now, Wolverine vol.4 is a welcome sight, taking us up to that awesome issue #75 encounter with Magneto. Reading the collected issues list I think there may be a few mini-series in there I've not read. This surprises me but this was also my HS to College years transition. Staying on the main titles was my focus.

Phoenix volume 2 collects the main Jean Grey, Madelyne Pryor, and Rachel Summers stories.

Uncanny 141, 142, 184, 199, 201-203, 207, 209 and Excalibur 42-50, 52, 61, 66-67 cover the introduction of Rachel Summers, her arrival in the 616 timeline and joining the X-Men through her tenure with Excalibur. Uncanny 168-176, 221, and 222 focus on Maddy Pryor. Fantastic Four 286, Avengers 263, X-Factor 1, 13, 18 are about the return of Jean Grey. Uncanny 239-243 and X-Factor 35-39 are the culmination of the Mady Pryor/Jean Grey return stories in Inferno.

I find it fluctuates depending on if I order a book(s) from that weeks release or if I mix it up with items from my Wishlist which may be weeks/months older.
In that case they aren't as on hand and need to get it from a supplier before shipping to me.
